As part of the TTC’s continuing modernization efforts the turnstiles at the main entrance and high gates at the automatic entrance to York Mills Station will be replaced with new paddle-style fare gates.

Construction at the main entrance is scheduled to start on Oct. 11.

  • The construction will be done in three phases. Customers will enter the station through the collector booth aisle or through a temporary station collector entrance
  • A PRESTO card reader will be available for PRESTO card customers during both phases of construction.

Construction at the Old York Mills Road automatic entrance is scheduled to start on Oct. 12.

  • This entrance will be closed from 11 p.m. Oct. 13 until the middle of next January.
  • When construction is complete customers will only be able to access this entrance by PRESTO card.
