As part of the TTC’s continuing modernization efforts, the turnstiles at Kipling Station’s main entrance and the high gates at the Aukland Road and St Albans Road automatic entrances will be replaced with new paddle-style fare gates.

Construction at the main entrance is scheduled to start on August 28. It will be done in two phases and will take until the beginning of November to complete.
One temporary PRESTO card reader will be available beside the station collector during both phases of construction.

Construction at the Aukland Road bus bay automatic entrance is scheduled to start on August 28.

  • The entrance will be closed from 10 p.m. August 28 until 6 a.m. August 31 for demolition.
  • When it re-opens, on August 31, a temporary station collector will be available at the entrance.
  • When construction is complete, customers will only be able to access this entrance with a TTC Pass or PRESTO card.

  • The entrance will be closed from 10 p.m. August 31 until 6 a.m. September 3 for demolition.
  • When it re-opens, on September 1, a temporary station collector will be available at the entrance.
  • When construction is complete, customers will only be able to access this entrance with a TTC Pass or PRESTO card.
