As part of the TTC’s continuing modernization efforts the turnstiles at the main entrance and high gates at the automatic entrances to Finch Station will be replaced with new paddle-style fare gates.

Construction at the main entrance is scheduled to start on Dec. 17.

  • The construction will be done in two phases. Customers will enter the station through the collector booth aisle or through a temporary station collector entrance
  • A PRESTO card reader will be available for PRESTO card customers during both phases of construction.

Construction at the Pemberton automatic entrance is scheduled to start on Dec. 17.

  • This entrance will be closed from 11 p.m. Dec. 17 until the middle of next February.
  • When construction is complete customers will only be able to access this entrance by TTC Pass or PRESTO card.
  • Customers paying by tickets, tokens or cash must use the main entrance.

Construction at the East automatic entrance is scheduled to start on Jan. 4, 2018.

  • This entrance will be closed from 11 p.m. Jan. 4 until the middle of next February.
  • When construction is complete customers will only be able to access this entrance by TTC Pass or PRESTO card.
  • Customers paying by tickets, tokens or cash must use the main entrance.

Construction at the North automatic entrance is scheduled to start on Jan. 6, 2018.

  • This entrance will be closed from 11 p.m. Jan 6 until the middle of next March.
  • When construction is complete customers will only be able to access this entrance by TTC Pass or PRESTO card.
  • Customers paying by tickets, tokens or cash must use the main entrance.
