You cannot use your old Senior/Student, old Child tickets or old Day Passes after January 31, 2012.

Old tickets and Day Passes purchased prior to 2010 cannot be used at any time and will not be refunded.

When can I buy new tickets and new Day Passes?

  • Senior/Student and Child tickets, and new Day Passes are on sale January 1, 2012.

What happens to my old tickets and Day Passes? Can I use them?

  • Effective January 1 to January 31, 2012 an extra cash fare is required with old tickets:
    - Old Senior/Student Ticket plus 10 cents;
    - Old Child Ticket plus 5 cents;
    - No additional fare is required with an old Day Pass.

After January 31, 2012, what do I do with my old Senior/Student and Child tickets and old Day Passes?

  • Old TTC Senior/Student and Child tickets, and Day Passes purchased in 2010 or 2011 can be returned to the TTC for a refund of their original value. Tickets shown are eligible for return; Day Passes marked as "Version A10" on the back of the pass are eligible for return; Maximum $100 in person, per transaction.
