PRESTO

Valid government issued photo identification must be shown in order to set a youth, post-secondary student or senior discount on a PRESTO card. Valid government issued identification needs to be shown in order to set a youth or senior fare type. Post-secondary students must show their TTC Photo Identification, which they can get at the TTC’s photo centre at Sherbourne Station.

Post-Secondary Students

Post-Secondary students need to carry a TTC Post-Secondary Photo ID when using a Post-Secondary Monthly Pass. Post-Secondary Photo ID is not eligible for use with the Senior/Youth Weekly Pass, Senior/Youth Ticket or Senior/Youth cash fare.

Seniors

Seniors, 65 years of age or older, need to carry valid identification. Seniors can use a Senior Monthly Pass, Senior/Youth Weekly Pass, Senior/Youth Ticket or exact Senior/Youth cash fare.

Youths

Effective as of September 1, 2014:
Youths, between 13 and 15 years of age, do not require identification.
Youths, between 16 and 19 years of age, need to carry valid identification.

Youths can use a Youth Monthly Pass, Senior/Youth Weekly Pass, Senior/Youth Ticket or exact Senior/Youth cash fare.

Children

Children 12 years of age and under ride free.

The TTC Child Proof-of-Age Card is available for children who are tall for their age.
