COVID-19 Safety Notices

Update to guidelines for fully vaccinated individuals

On August 11, 2021, the Ontario government released updated guidelines for fully vaccinated individuals. There are now different rules and procedures for vaccinated and unvaccinated individuals when it comes to pandemic health regulations. You are considered fully vaccinated once it has been 14 or more days since your final dose of an approved vaccine.

Safety Notice – August 24

The interim guidance does not apply to partially vaccinated individuals. A partially vaccinated individual is someone who has only received one dose of an approved vaccine.

Vaccinations are the safest and most effective way to help stop the spread of COVID-19. The TTC has introduced a new vaccination policy, which will take effect on September 13, 2021. This policy, and other operational details are currently being finalized, and will soon be shared with employees.

Getting vaccinated not only protects you from severe illness, hospitalization and death, under the new guidelines it can now prevent you from being isolated if you are a close contact of a positive case.
