December 12: The first employee is an Electrician who works in the Subway Infrastructure Department. The individual developed symptoms on December 9, 2020. The individual tested positive for COVID-19 on December 11, 2020. The individual last reported to work on December 9, 2020, and is currently self-isolating at home.

The second employee is a Track Mechanic who works in the Subway Infrastructure Department. The individual developed symptoms on December 1, 2020. The individual tested positive for COVID-19 on December 11, 2020. The individual last reported to work on December 9, 2020, and is currently self-isolating at home.

The third employee is a Streetcar Operator who works at Leslie Barns. The individual developed symptoms on December 7, 2020. The individual tested positive for COVID-19 on December 12, 2020. The individual last reported to work on December 1, 2020, and is currently self-isolating at home.

December 11: The first employee is an Electrician who works in the Subway Infrastructure Department. The individual developed symptoms on December 10, 2020. The individual tested positive for COVID-19 on December 10, 2020. The individual last reported to work on December 8, 2020, and is currently self-isolating at home.

The second employee is a Track Maintainer who works in the Subway Infrastructure Department. The individual developed symptoms on December 6, 2020. The individual tested positive for COVID-19 on December 11, 2020. The individual last reported to work on December 5, 2020, and is currently self-isolating at home.

The third employee is a Wheel-Trans Operator who works at Lakeshore Division. The individual developed symptoms on December 3, 2020. The individual tested positive for COVID-19 on December 10, 2020. The individual last reported to work on December 2, 2020, and is currently self-isolating at home.

December 10: The first individual is a contractor who works in the Closures and Diversions Department. The individual developed symptoms on December 5, 2020. The individual tested positive for COVID-19 on December 9, 2020. The individual last reported to work on December 4, 2020, and is currently self-isolating at home.

The second employee is a Serviceperson who works at Station Services. The individual developed symptoms on December 3, 2020. The individual tested positive for COVID-19 on December 8, 2020. The individual last reported to work on December 2, 2020, and is currently self-isolating at home.

The third employee is Subway Operator who works at Wilson Division. The individual developed symptoms on November 30, 2020, after completing their shift. The individual tested positive for COVID-19 on December 10, 2020. The individual last reported to work on November 30, 2020, and is currently self-isolating at home.

The fourth employee is Bus Operator who works at Mount Dennis Division. The individual developed symptoms on December 6, 2020, after completing their shift. The individual tested positive for COVID-19 on December 10, 2020. The individual last reported to work on December 6, 2020, and is currently self-isolating at home.

The fifth employee is a Vehicle Repairperson who works at Greenwood Carhouse. The individual developed symptoms on December 6, 2020, after completing their shift. The individual tested positive for COVID-19 on December 9, 2020. The individual last reported to work on December 6, 2020, and is currently self-isolating at home.

December 9: The employee works in the Elevating Devices Section of the Plant Maintenance Department. The individual is asymptomatic. The individual tested positive for COVID-19 on December 9, 2020. The individual last reported to work on December 4, 2020, and is currently self-isolating at home.

December 8: The first employee is a Subway Operator who works at Wilson Division. The individual developed symptoms on December 4, 2020. The individual tested positive for COVID-19 on December 7, 2020. The individual last reported to work on December 3, 2020, and is currently self-isolating at home.

The second employee is a Subway Operator who works at Wilson Division. The individual tested positive for COVID-19 near the end of November. The individual last reported to work on November 7, 2020, and is currently self-isolating.

The third individual is an Assistant Foreperson in the Subway Infrastructure Department. The individual developed symptoms on December 5, 2020. The individual tested positive for COVID-19 on December 7, 2020. The individual last reported to work on December 4, 2020, and is currently self-isolating at home.

The fourth employee is a Coach Technician who works at Queensway Garage. The individual is asymptomatic. The individual tested positive for COVID-19 on December 6, 2020. The individual last reported to work on November 28, 2020, and is currently self-isolating at home.

The fifth employee is a Serviceperson who works at Station Services. The individual developed symptoms on December 3, 2020. The individual tested positive for COVID-19 on December 8, 2020. The individual last reported to work on December 5, 2020, and is currently self-isolating at home.

December 7: The first employee is Station Collector who works in the Stations Department. The individual developed symptoms on December 4, 2020. The individual tested positive for COVID-19 on December 6, 2020. The individual last reported to work on December 2, 2020, and is currently self-isolating at home.

The second employee is a Subway Operator who works at Danforth Division. The individual developed symptoms on December 3, 2020. The individual tested positive for COVID-19 yesterday, December 6, 2020. The individual last reported to work on December 2, 2020, and is currently self-isolating at home.

The third employee is the Bus Operator who works at Queensway Division. The individual developed symptoms on December 5, 2020. The individual tested positive for COVID-19 on December 7, 2020. The individual last reported to work on December 2, 2020, and is currently self-isolating at home.

The fourth employee is the Subway Operator who works at Wilson Division. The individual developed symptoms on December 3, 2020. The individual tested positive for COVID-19 on December 6, 2020. The individual last reported to work on December 2, 2020, and is currently self-isolating at home.

The fifth employee is the Bus Operator who works at Wilson Division. The individual developed symptoms on December 4, 2020. The individual tested positive for COVID-19 on December 7, 2020. The individual last reported to work on December 3, 2020, and is currently self-isolating at home.

The sixth is an employee who works in the Human Resources Department. The individual developed symptoms on November 30, 2020. The individual tested positive for COVID-19 on December 5, 2020. The individual last reported to work on November 30, 2020, and is currently self-isolating at home.

The seventh employee is a Customer Service Agent who works in the Stations Department. The individual developed symptoms on December 2, 2020. The individual tested positive for COVID-19 on December 7, 2020. The individual last reported to work on December 2, 2020, and is currently self-isolating at home.

December 6: The first employee is Station Supervisor who works in the Stations Department. The individual developed symptoms on November 27, 2020. The individual tested positive for COVID-19 on December 5, 2020. The individual last reported to work on November 24, 2020, and is currently self-isolating at home.

The second employee is the Bus Operator who works at Mount Dennis Division. The individual developed symptoms on December 3, 2020. The individual tested positive for COVID-19 on December 5, 2020. The individual last reported to work on December 3, 2020, and is currently self-isolating at home.

The third employee is the Bus Operator who works at Arrow Road Division. The individual developed symptoms on December 2, 2020. The individual tested positive for COVID-19 on December 6, 2020. The individual last reported to work on December 2, 2020, and is currently self-isolating at home.

Following TPH guidance on case and contact management, the TTC is assessing whether there were any close contacts with the individual while contagious, requiring self-isolation.

The TTC takes safety very seriously and considers the health and well-being of TTC employees of utmost importance. The TTC will continue to report information about positive diagnoses and publish the information on the TTC COVID-19 case update page on the TTC website at: http://www.ttc.ca/Riding_the_TTC/Safety_and_Security/Case_update.jsp. To date, 60 employees have returned to work since testing positive.

Please note, priority access is now available for TTC employees who are essential frontline workers or are required to support frontline work and are also exhibiting symptoms of COVID-19. If you develop new or worsening symptoms consistent with COVID-19 (see link above) or have been in close contact with someone who has tested positive for COVID-19, stay home and contact Occupational Health at 416-393-4572 or OHEW@ttc.ca to be connected with a Disability Management Specialist (DMS). If you are eligible for testing, your DMS will provide you with a letter from Toronto Public Health recommending priority testing.

Important reminder: Safety notices advise employees with concerns about their personal health to contact their family doctor or Telehealth at 1-866-797-0000. Toronto Public Health has also set up a coronavirus hotline that provides the public with a place to get information, ask questions about this virus and connect with a health professional at 416-338-7600.
