September Board Period Services Changes

TTC bus 8/31/20 6:00 PM

Starting on Sunday, September 6, the TTC will be making the following service adjustments:

Highlights
During the September 2020 Board Period, TTC service will continue to operate at reduced levels. A significant proportion of service will continue to operate as demand-responsive service to provide flexibility to adjust to largely unknown conditions and travel demands.

Service will continue to be suspended on 140-series express, 176 Mimico GO, 508 Lake Shore and all 900-series express routes (except 900 Airport Express, 913 Progress Express and 927 Highway 27 Express). Schedules will be largely the same as the August 2020 Board Period.

Service adjustments will continue through fall 2020 and early 2021 as the City continues its reopening and recovery.

School service
The TTC is working with the Toronto District School Board and the Toronto Catholic District School Board to understand travel pattern changes and needs resulting from the returning to school plans announced at the beginning of August. Where required, the TTC will deploy demand-responsive buses (600-series) to facilitate added demand during midday school dismissal times. Further detail will be provided in late August.

> TTC track replacement at Dundas Street West and Howard Park Avenue and on the Sterling Bridge, west of Lansdowne Avenue, will require 505 Dundas streetcars and 506 Carlton buses to divert.
> Scarborough Centre Station south pedestrian bridge structural rehabilitation (J60-21) will require the adjustment of bus platform allocations in the bus terminal.
