Appointment of Chief of Staff

Joan Taylor

I am pleased to announce that Joan Taylor has been appointed Chief of Staff. Joan will join the TTC on a secondment basis from the City of Toronto on February 25.

Joan brings considerable expertise to this new executive position, having spent the past eight years in the City Manager’s Office. As Chief of Staff, Joan will assist my office in enhancing our relationships with elected officials at the City, province and federal governments as the TTC works to achieve long-term, sustainable funding for both our operating and capital budgets.

Joan will also spearhead and co-ordinate our five-year strategic plan, helping manage divergent projects as they each come together to ensure we’re all successful in attaining our vision of a transit system that makes Toronto proud.
